Some friends and I were talking just this evening about celebrating the things that make you you. Celebrating the hobbies, or the interests, or the people that you love. It can feel scary and vulnerable, so lots of us choose not to. We put all our effort into blending in.

What I adored about Bid and Chris’ wedding was how much it screamed *them*. Every moment celebrated the things and people they love in completely unique ways. It was bloody marvellous.

Let’s dive in. xx

Her grandmother’s petticoat and hankie. xx

Bid and her mum are hilarious together… they’re more like sisters.

The ceremony was held at the chapel at St Andrews College where Bid teaches. It has just been rebuilt following the quakes, and the new design has the most gorgeous natural light within.

If you saw Chris as Bid came up the aisle, you’d have just melted. Gosh this moment during weddings… it is everything. xx

The Christchurch Pops Choir were there to sing the couple in and out…

… and during the ceremony, Bid even ran over to join her choir for a number. 😀

The reception was over at Clearwater…

These lovely two were celebrating their own wedding anniversary. xx

Ahhhh you two! Those smiles!!!

One of the most gorgeous parts of the day had to be the father daughter dance. These two had fully choreographed a dance… it was hilarious. 😀

Bid and Chris… thank you so much for the joy of documenting your wedding. All the very best. xx

PS A huge thank you too to Erin for being a fabulous second shooter. 🙂
