Beyond delighted to finally share Haley and Chris’ Fiji wedding from late last year.
You can know someone for a while, but sometimes it takes a little push in the right direction. That came when Haley and Chris were both invited along to the same Fiji trip by mutual friends… and the rest was history. Even Chris living in New Zealand and Haley in Australia wasn’t enough to keep them apart – they just got to know their local airports really well!
It’s a big choice to have a destination wedding (although an amazing one!)… but for Haley and Chris, it was the obvious choice. Not only would it mean they wouldn’t have to pick between NZ and Australia, Fiji was the place where they had their very first date.
Making this day extra special was the face that Chris is a cousin of my husband, which meant a wedding full of family and friends and all that good stuff. x

Haley and Chris chose the epic Shangri-La Fiji on Yanuca Island for their wedding, with the ceremony at a gorgeous chapel just up the road.

Bula! xx

My gorgeous sister-in-law Amy was bridesmaid. x

Hair was by the super talented Rebecca Blissett from Sydney.

Hehehe, always love these moments! 😀

After family photos and water straight from the coconut, guests headed back over to the Shangri-La to relax for a couple of hours and enjoy the stunning day.

These two just zing with happiness when they’re together… it is the most beautiful thing. x

Beautiful people in a beautiful location… heart full to burst! x

With the temperature beautifully warm even late into the evening, they held their evening reception out on the sand, under the stars.

If you can, it’s lovely to put aside fifteen minutes before sunset to take photos. The light is always extraordinary, no matter what the weather is doing. But this evening totally kicked it out of the park!

As the light dimmed, the skyline lit up with wildfires in the far distance.

Haley and Chris… what an incredible day. Hope every day since has been just as magic. xx
